Vestpod is a thriving community with a mission to help people, and in particular women, achieve financial independence.
We talk openly about money, building sustainable financial habits, earning more and investing for the long term.
The Vestpod community is mainly made up of women aged 25-40, with a broad range of wealth, from first savers to experienced investors and freelancers and entrepreneurs to senior professionals. In Spring 2022, we launched IRL pods in London, Brighton and Manchester.
WHY?
Women in the UK are paid just 90p for every £1 earned by a man, are more likely to take on caring roles and invest less. This takes a huge toll on women’s pensions, and the average woman retires with half as much in her pension pot as a man.

Emilie Bellet - FOUNDER & CEO of Vestpod
Emilie Bellet launched Vestpod in 2016 after a career in private equity and at Lehman Brothers left her with the stark realisation that she wasn't actively managing her finances and couldn't find the support to do so. Vestpod was born out of a desire to empower women by opening up the conversation.

Emilie is the author of the bestselling book, "You’re Not Broke, You’re Pre-Rich" and the co-author of "The WealthTech Book". She was included in the FinTech Powerlist 2019 ("Rising Stars") and was a finalist in the 2018 Women in Finance Awards (“Disruptor of the year”).
Vestpod has been featured everywhere, including BBC News, Forbes, The Telegraph, The Guardian, the FT and Vogue to Glamour, Refinery29, Huffpost, Sheerluxe, Bustle, Harper's Bazaar, Courier and Cosmopolitan. Emilie has a monthly finance column in i Paper.
I started my career at Lehman Brothers where I worked as an analyst in private equity merchant banking. I was then part of the spin out fund Trilantic Capital Partners. I also built a first business in the tech recruitment space. Reflecting on my years working in finance, I realized I was not saving or investing enough and could not find the support to do so.
I then decided to launch Vestpod for women - as a way to provide education and a community for women to start breaking the taboo around money.
Over the past 5 years I have been talking to women and hosting workshops and events about money, career and finance.

I live in London with my husband and my 3 kids.
I participated in Google Campus for Mums program and Natwest RBS Fintech accelerator. Vestpod has been shortlisted in the 2018 Women in Finance Awards as Disruptor of the year! I am a co-author of the WealthTECH book published by Wiley. I also played fieldhockey for the French national team in my 20's!
