Podcast of the Month: Y Combinator x Mr Money Mustache

Everyone’s on about the Leandra Medine and Sophia Amoruso podcasts (we’re totally guilty, too). But there’s also a handful of hidden gems out there that we’re super psyched to share with you.

Y Combinator

Don’t Start a Blog, Start a Cult with Pete Adeney, also known as Mr. Money Mustache and Craig Cannon from Y Combinator (“YC”)'s podcast. Mr. Money Mustache retired at 30, after working as a software engineer, and started blogging about it. The interesting thing is that he is not a millionaire, but he amassed tens of thousands of dollars over time with his wife and he has a super clear, plain vision of how to save and invest money. This is to show you a very different relationship with money than what you may be used to! We loved it and found it pretty smart.

What? Frugality re-discovered.

Why Does it Matter? YC is investing in early stage startups. It started in March 2005. The podcast is about “people who are shaping the future. A show about technology in business, research, and art.” YC was called Fast Company has called YC "the world's most powerful start-up incubator".
