Country Manager - Sales, Marketing in Singapore. 32 years old. Married.
Financial goals:
Short term (1-5 years): New home/ business venture
Medium term (5-10 years): Business
Long term (10 years +): Pension pot yes.
Best buy ever: Couple of paintings / make me happy and may be worth something in the future
Worst buy ever: Stupid photoshoot photos at Uni of photos that I never look at (or want to) as they are awful! Took me 24 months to pay off!!
Things you spend the most money on: Food, clothes, travel
Salary / Income: £80,000 after tax
Net worth (what you own vs what you owe, or your assets minus your debts): £70,000
Any side hustles: No
Savings: £35,000 ISA, £25,000 savings. 50% saving from salary
Home: Not yet, want to buy in 5 years as a airbnb place
Debt: £8,000 student loan
Investing: ISA and Stashaway account (oops forgot to mention that earlier) £4000
Pension: Yes for last 10 years but just stopped as I’m now local in Singapore and not an expat anymore
Insurances: No
What is money for you? Way out of the rat race, opportunity to focus on what I want to do and help others
What is financial independence for you? Not having to go in for a meeting at 9am on a Monday
