💭 Financial goals:
Short term (1-5 years): Start investing properly.
Medium term (5-10 years): Buy a home in Central London.
Long term (10 years +): Potentially save for private secondary education for my kids.
🌟 Best buy ever: Anything I spend on exercise. This is really expensive in London but worth every penny for my body and my mind.
😳 Worst buy ever: Overdraft interest.. didn’t realise until recently that I was losing money every year.
👀 Things you spend the most money on: Childcare, travel.
😌 Pension: Yes £35k.
🔮 Insurances: Yes.
💸 Salary / Income: £64k (I work part-time).
💰 Net worth (what you own vs what you owe, or your assets minus your debts): £20,000.
💻 Any side hustles: Not at the moment.. dream of writing a book.
👛 Savings: I have a Marcus savings account and recently dipped my toe into Wealthify.. I have a healthy pension pot for someone my age and I put in 15% of my salary in it (with my employer).
🏠 Home: Half of a property worth £700k.
🔦 Debt: £5k on a credit card, but it’s 0%.
📈 Investing: Wealthify and with my company share scheme.
