๐ญ Financial goals:
Short term (1-5 years): Start investing properly.
Medium term (5-10 years): Buy a home in Central London.
Long term (10 years +): Potentially save for private secondary education for my kids.
๐ Best buy ever: Anything I spend on exercise. This is really expensive in London but worth every penny for my body and my mind.
๐ณ Worst buy ever: Overdraft interest.. didnโt realise until recently that I was losing money every year.
๐ Things you spend the most money on: Childcare, travel.
๐ Pension: Yes £35k.
๐ฎ Insurances: Yes.
๐ธ Salary / Income: £64k (I work part-time).
๐ฐ Net worth (what you own vs what you owe, or your assets minus your debts): £20,000.
๐ป Any side hustles: Not at the moment.. dream of writing a book.
๐ Savings: I have a Marcus savings account and recently dipped my toe into Wealthify.. I have a healthy pension pot for someone my age and I put in 15% of my salary in it (with my employer).
๐ Home: Half of a property worth £700k.
๐ฆ Debt: £5k on a credit card, but itโs 0%.
๐ Investing: Wealthify and with my company share scheme.
